How to arrive to Trujillo
All flights to Peru arrive in Lima. There are two ways to get to Trujillo from Lima: you can choose to arrive by plane or by bus.
By plane
The national flight from Lima-Trujillo runs around $60 or more (one-way) and it should arrive in Trujillo in about 45 minutes.
You can purchase your ticket on the web at www.Lan.com or www.taca.com Upon arrival in Trujillo we will pick you up from the airport.
By bus
A safe and economical way to travel, the Lima-Trujillo bus ride will cost around 55.00 Nuevo Soles or $20 (US). The trip lasts around 8
hours. The buses are comfortable and include everything you can expect from an airline including food and a movie. We recommend two bus companies: ITTSA and OLTURSA (www.oltursa.com.pe). Most of our volunteers choose to take the bus; therefore we have included the cost of your bus fare in your volunteer fee. We will pick you up from the bus station in Trujillo upon your arrival.
